Donate to Hearts of Mercy for Cats

Abdullah, founder of Hearts of Mercy for Cats
Hearts of Mercy for Cats is a cat rescue team based in the northern Gaza Strip. Founded by Abdullah Al-Zmili as a personal initiative, the team provides clean water, food, shelter and veterinary care to stray and abandoned cats in the local community.
They also conducts field rescues and treats both stray and domestic cats, —often at the direct request of families—and by performing high-cost surgeries at the team’s own expense and responsibility.
The shelter is able to receive international support through online donation links, with the assistance of Jessica Cupero from Arizona, who manages the donation accounts and ensures that the funds are transferred in full to the rescue team.

Crisis in Gaza
Gaza is facing a severe humanitarian crisis that is also having a devastating impact on animals. Shelters face constant challenges to obtain support, making international assistance essential to their survival.
To save time and overcome the lack of public transportation, Hearts of Mercy for Cats rent a car to rescue the cats and reach them as quickly as possible, which it is extremely expensive. In addition, the members receive monthly salaries to enable them to support their families, as they come from very impoverished backgrounds.
Hearts of Mercy for Cats team has been working for over nine months without receiving any support or assistance from any organization.
