Meet Penelope
Their Story
Penelope was found alone on the streets, walking in slow circles with both of her tiny eyes bulging from her head after suffering unimaginable abuse. Veterinarians believe her injuries were caused by severe trauma, leaving her with devastating damage to her eyes and nervous system.
When Penelope was rescued, it was believed she would need both eyes removed. But thanks to weeks of specialized care and Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society Inc, she’s exceeded every expectation.
Today, Penelope is growing, eating well, playing like a kitten should, and becoming stronger every day.
How Your Donation Is Used
All donations are received and managed by Feline Guardians through our Survivor Care Program. Funds raised through Penelope’s appeal will be allocated to their veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and related care needs.
Once their care needs have been met, any excess funds, or funds no longer required for their care, will be allocated to the Survivor Care Program to provide treatment and support for other survivors of deliberate cruelty and abuse.
Fundraising goals are based on estimated needs and may be adjusted as circumstances change.
